Whiteboard has sparked a partnership with the new Plywood Place location slated to open January 2020. Whiteboard's co-founder and CEO, Taylor Jones, and Director of Digital Projects, Savannah Wallace, will head-up the new location.
Plywood is a non-profit based in Atlanta that fosters start-ups seeking to have a positive change on culture. Plywood’s new workspace will open and host a plethora of start-ups and companies. This space will serve as an incubator for ideas and hope within the community and promote the entrepreneurial scene in Atlanta.
Eric Brown, Chief Creative Officer, and co-founder, is thrilled with the expansion.“A couple of years ago I read an article in the Atlanta Journal Constitution that cited Chattanooga, Tennessee as a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Over the years, we've been privileged to work alongside Atlanta-based organizations such as NCR, Purposity, Airbus Aerial, Brand Apart, ADDO, Gravy, Oust, Chick-fil-A, and more. Having a presence in Atlanta means investing more time and energy into those organizations and other communities we love, like Plywood (where I’m an advisor) and Oust Labs, a new startup accelerator.”
As a certified B Corporation, Whiteboard strives to be a business that balances profit and purpose.
Brown continued, “Plywood Place provides the perfect entrepreneurial ecosystem to serve the broader Atlanta community and begin building our Atlanta-based team.”
