With over 100 entrepreneurs, 150 mentors, and 350 investors and philanthropists thus far, Praxis aims to build an expansive community with a shared mission and alternative imagination for the spirit of the age in our time.
Praxis CEO & co-founder, Dave Blanchard, says “We live in an unprecedented moment in history where entrepreneurs have outsized influence on our world—not only on the products and services we use, but also the causes we support, the role models we admire, and ultimately how we define the “good life.” As Jack Dorsey recently declared on the cover of Forbes, “The most efficient means to spread an idea today is corporate structure.”
“For years, our team has served Praxis through leading a variety of special projects for their team including their annual community update, Rule of Life, Redemptive Nonprofit, and the launch of redemptive.is. I’m thrilled that we get to participate on the other side of Praxis and experience their work as recipient,” Taylor Jones, co-founder of Whiteboard said.
According to the Kauffman Foundation, 54% of Millennials have started an organization or desire to start one, and dozens of organizations such as Y Combinator, TechStars, Echoing Green, and Ashoka have arisen to support them. Venture building is a deeply formational process: it shapes founders, as they shape the world in which we all live.
Jones continued, “Going into our 9th year of leading a creative agency the Praxis Accelerator is a chance to take step back and look holistically at our business. This process is helping us prepare for the next decade.”
